The delegation will consist of UK Space technologies companies and research organisations, and is supported by the UK Space Agency, RAL Space, and the Science & Innovation team at British High Commission. As part of the Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts 2020, learn more about the development of Singapore through significant historical maps from 1819 to the present in Tales of Singapore Maps, a talk by map research consultant Mok Ly Yng. Deepen your understanding of the Selden Map of China and the Mao Kun Map (Admiral Zheng He’s Navigational Map) during this presentation by map research consultant Mok Ly Yng. These rare maps, currently on display at the On Paper: Singapore Before 1867 exhibition, were produced toward the end of the Ming dynasty in the early 1600s.
