Urban Transportation is undergoing drastic changes, with many new developments. These include transportation network companies, scooter operators, automated vehicles and the strengthening of urban slow modes like biking and walking. Combustion engines are also increasingly being replaced by electric vehicles.
This workshop will demonstrate how the chances and challenges of these new developments can be tackled via models and tools used in the transportation planning process. New methodologies used for evaluation will also be introduced. To create appropriate framework and policies for a sustainable transportation ecosystem, these developments and their associated challenges must be directly addressed.
As part of ACE(Action Community for Entrepreneurship)'s efforts to empower local startups to enter the regional and international market, the ACE Market Insights series brings together country and market experts to share their insights on the potential of overseas markets and how to gain access. Piece Future, Asia’s first Intellectual Property Investment Bank is organizing a regional Open Innovation Challenge known as IPHatch. In Singapore, the Challenge is supported by Intellectual Property Intermediary (IPI), an Enterprise Singapore organisation.
